It requires a minimum 3/4 inch gas line, and for small pipe installation, we provide a 1/2 adapter along with the burner. There are an exact number of holes in the burner to allow for even gas distribution and a beautiful flame. The holes and drilled and not punched, so there is no loud whistling noise.
