Rasmussen 18" Flaming Ember Extra Burner With Remote Ready Safety "Easy" Pilot Control

Vented Gas Burners are designed to burn with a yellow, smoky, wood-like flame that will produce carbon soot which must be fully exhausted up the chimney. Vented gas logs are not a cure for a smoking (non-drafting) chimney.

“FX” Burner - L-shaped half-pan burner that sits on the firebox floor underneath a grate. Single pipe burner with ember boosters that increase the depth of the ember bed by 2 inches compared to the F burner.

The Rasmussen FX Flaming Ember-Extra Vented Hearth Kit is designed with a basic single tube burner and paired with a grate and a larger ember booster. This hearth kit will produce pleasing, variable flames with a more compact ember bed. The burner pan is constructed of heavy 16-gauge steel, with 1/2" schedule-40 pipe for the main burner tube and 1/4" steel tubing for the ember booster. Each hearth kit comes complete with:

RPK3E Remote Ready Safety Pilot "EASY" Control. Requires one of the Wireless Remoter Transmitter Devices to light the main burner. Adjust the flame height manually by turning the knob at the valve. Provides safety shutdown in the event of an interruption in the gas supply or flameout. Also provides a convenient means of lighting the main burner. A safety control is required for all Propane installations, is advisable for natural gas, and is required in certain jusisdictions.
