Rasmussen 18" Lone Star Log Set

Rasmussen uses real pieces of wood to develop its log patterns and a painstaking molding process to reproduce the finest detail. Rasmussen logs are of the Ceramic Bonded Refractory Concrete type. Rasmussen uses a high-heat resistant, high-alumina refractory cement with a maximum temperature rating of over 2300 degrees F, lightweight expanded shale aggregates and rigid steel rod reinforcing for strength and durability. All of Rasmussen’s logs are hand colored with a multi-step (up to six colors) process utilizing environmentally-friendly non-paint-based ceramic colorations, which remain colorfast under fire, and which do not create any odor when burned.

Burner System Options:

Hargrove's vented gas log burner systems use the finest quality materials for years of trouble-free operation.  The heart of the gas log set is the Ember Burner.  Built with a heavy, 16 gauge steel pan, the burner is designed to distribute gas throughout the burn area in a random and ever-changing pattern, just like a real wood fire.  Hargrove's Ember Burner system is designed to work with all standard depth, single-sided log sets.

The H Burner expands upon the Ember burner concept by adding a full-length secondary burner tube to the front area of the burner pan. This advancement provides additional flame in front of the logs, which helps radiate more heat into the home while enhancing the look of the log set, and also creates an improved ember bed, particularly in liquid propane applications. Hargrove's H Burner is designed to work with all standard depth, single-sided log sets.

Control Options:

Hargrove Hearth Products offers several control options for your gas log set. Hargrove valve systems are designed to interchange with Hargrove burner systems - most of the valve options shown below can be used on any Hargrove gas log set, and all can be ordered in natural gas or liquid propane configurations. Your Hargrove dealer can help you determine which valve arrangement is the best choice for your home.

Hargrove valves and switching systems offer safety, reliability and the convenience of a standing pilot, which eliminates the need to re-light the unit with each use. Hargrove valves and switching systems are optimized to work best with your Hargrove gas log burner. Most Hargrove valve systems are mounted near the front of the fireplace, making them even more reliable and easy to light. Insist on Hargrove valves and switching systems.

	Safety Pilot: The Safety Pilot Control system is a manually operated valve with a standing pilot, which automatically shuts off gas flow to the set should the pilot go out, protecting your home and family.
	Latchtap Pilot With Remote: The Latch-Tap Remote safety pilot system is similar in appearance to the Safety Pilot Control (shown here with heat shield removed), but adds an on/off remote control unit to this low profile, high-temperature valve.
	Millivolt Pilot With Remote: The Millivolt valve safety pilot system is designed for maximum switching flexibility, and can be used with a standard wall switch, our decorative pinecone and bark chip switches, or the on/off remote control system.  Millivolt valves are available in two flow capacities, standard (shown at right), for use with log sets up to 36", and high capacity, for use with log sets larger than 36".  Both millivolt valves may also be mounted outside of the fireplace, giving you a completely hidden control system.
